Review: Fuse Gelnamel by Sensationail: Lightning Jolt

 I went to my local CVS, with a coupon for saving $5, if the customer spends $15 on beauty on nail products. I'm a sucker for gel polish, and I found "Fuse Gelnamel" by Sensationail. I've tried their gel polish before, and I've enjoyed them. So, my curiosity was aroused, and I bought two "Gelnamel" colors.







Lightning Jolt                                                             Gone Fission

I used the gelnamel with a thin gel primer coat, a thin gel base coat, two THIN coats of the Lightning Jolt, and followed with a thin coat of gel top coat. I used it all with the original LED light.

Here's what it looks like in "indoor" light. 

By judging the color of the bottle, I was expecting an opaque hot pink color, with glitter. But, it's a transparent pink with lots of glitter.





This is what it looks like in daylight.... very pretty, girly and sparkly. I really like it!

Trip to Philadelphia, PA to Theatre of Living Arts to see RATT

I am a child of the 80s. I love hard rock and metal music, and have for quite some time. I have a local radio station that I adore,  103.7 WMGM Rocks  and I had the luck to win RATT tickets from them. I have been a fan of RATT  since I first saw "Round and Round"  on MTV in 1984. So.... Fast forward to March of 2017. I called and won tickets when I answered a trivia contest through 103.7. My 1980s fangrrl was super-happy when I collected my tickets. How to Dye a Leather Purse with Spray Paint Color

How to color a leather purse.... This one happens to be a Prada bag. Yup, real deal. Here's the story behind this post. I bought a beautiful Prada bag at an estate sale earlier this year. Sadly, we had a fire in our house (in May 2013), and whatever could be salvaged went out to the professional cleaning service. It came back to me physically intact, and not reeking of smoke. But.... it needed (ahem) color adjustment. Step 1: Collect your supplies This step is a "no duh" step, but sometimes it really needs to be said.
